The International 2026 begins in Shanghai on 13 August, bringing the world’s leading Dota 2 teams together for one of esports’ biggest annual events. The Group Stage runs from 13 to 16 August, followed by the Finals from 20 to 23 August at the SPD Bank Oriental Sports Center in Shanghai, China.
Team Falcons is among the participating teams and arrives as the reigning champion after winning The International 2025. For audiences across the Gulf and MENA, the team adds a clear regional point of interest to a tournament whose competition and venue are in China—not in the UAE.
Major esports events extend beyond the arena
A global tournament is more than the matches on stage. Organisers, partners and venue teams also plan visitor circulation, sponsor activations, broadcast and media operations, guest reception, hospitality and fan experiences. These supporting spaces have to be installed on schedule, branded for the event and adapted to changing capacity and programme requirements.
Temporary event structures can support that wider footprint. Fan zones, sponsor pavilions, VIP lounges, reception points, catering areas and media compounds can all be configured around a main venue without requiring permanent construction. TentProject’s sports-event structures illustrate how modular covered spaces can be planned for participants and visitors, while the company’s air-conditioned VIP tent project in Abu Dhabi shows how climate control, transparent walls, flooring and installation can be combined in a temporary hospitality setting.
The International 2026 is not a TentProject project, but its scale reflects a broader event-industry reality: the strongest guest experience depends on the infrastructure surrounding the central spectacle as much as on the arena itself.

Air-conditioned tents in the UAE require more than placing a cooling unit inside a structure. This guide explains how TentProject plans tent cooling rental for events, from AC capacity and airflow to power, flooring, logistics and real project examples.
Modern warehouse and hangar tents in the UAE provide businesses with a fast, scalable and cost-effective alternative to permanent industrial buildings. From logistics hubs and construction storage to aviation hangars and commercial operations, modular tent structures are increasingly used across Dubai and the Middle East thanks to their durability, climate resistance and rapid installation capabilities.
