TentProject proudly announces its latest undertaking: the installation of two large arch tents for the prestigious Almaty Open, a professional tennis tournament held annually in the vibrant city of Almaty, Kazakhstan. Since its inception in 2023, this tournament has gained recognition, now classified as an ATP 250 event, boasting a prize fund of approximately 1 million dollars and a competitive field featuring 32 singles participants and 16 doubles teams.
The organisers of the Almaty Open approached TentProject with a vision to create a dynamic and comfortable environment for players, sponsors, and guests alike. Our team collaborated closely with the event planners to design a series of stunning arch tents that not only enhance the aesthetic of the Almaty Arena but also provide essential facilities for both spectators and participants.
For this project, we deployed two types of arch tents: the ARCH OCTA and the ARCH HEXA LONG, each offering a total area of 920 m². Both structures feature durable white PVC fabric tents equipped with eight transparent sliding PVC walls, ensuring a bright and inviting atmosphere while offering protection from the elements. The ARCH HEXA LONG tents also include two PVC connecting strips, adding protection from precipitation to the overall setup.
The selected tents are designed to accommodate large crowds, offering ample space for hospitality areas, player lounges, and sponsor activations. With their robust construction, these tents can withstand wind gusts of up to 35 m/s, ensuring safety and stability during the event. Each tent is anchored securely, utilizing high-strength steel supports and advanced manufacturing techniques that meet the highest standards of quality and durability.
Throughout the installation process, TentProject faced the challenge of creating a seamless integration with the Almaty Arena's existing infrastructure. Our team of engineers and assembly experts meticulously planned the layout, ensuring that every detail was addressed, from flooring solutions to lighting arrangements. The entire project was completed in just 10 days, demonstrating our commitment to efficiency and excellence.
The structures not only provide a luxurious setting for high-profile matches but also enhance the overall spectator experience, making the Almaty Open an unforgettable event.
