Defying Gravity Dome: TentProject Delivers an Unforgettable Under Armour Sport Brand Event
On May 20, 2018, TentProject took part in one of its most exciting projects to date—the installation of the Sphere D20 tent for a high-profile Under Armour Sport Brand event. This event, which marked the launch of Under Armour’s new Hovr collection, carried the theme “Defying Gravity” perfectly highlighting the innovative nature of the sportswear line.
The 314-square-meter tent provided a vast space for the installation of a running track, where world-renowned athletes like Usain Bolt, Allyson Felix, and Mo Farah performed breathtaking stunts, such as flips, standing jumps, and sprinting drills, showcasing their athletic prowess. The branded tent covering took three weeks to produce, while the tent structure itself was provided on a rental basis.
The construction took just six days to complete, including the installation of an additional floor with carpet covering to create an exceptionally comfortable environment. To meet the stringent quality standards set by the customer from the United States, a perimeter skirt was added to ensure perfect sealing of the seams. The branding and structure tensioning were meticulously controlled by our engineers and assembly team, guaranteeing the tent’s reliability and durability.
The event attracted a large number of guests, with the tent becoming a central element of the brand’s visual concept. Feedback from all event attendees was overwhelmingly positive. TentProject demonstrated its expertise in designing premium structures and delivering complex projects with success.
